Gilles Marini: Turning Brothers & Sisters Into Cougar Town?

Just when we thought we were Gilles Marini's No. 1 fan, along comes...Sally Field!
The 62-year-old acting legend is smitten with the Sex and the City and Dancing With the Stars hunkster, 33, after working with him recently on Brothers & Sisters (he's guesting as a love interest to Sarah Walker, played by Rachel Griffiths).
Read on find out exactly what Ms. Field (and another certain female television star) thinks of Marini...
"First, forget, if you can, what he looks like," Field told me. "OK, you can't, but pretend you can. Everybody is madly in love with him."
We know that feeling.
"He's the sweetest—absolutely a diamond of a person," Field gushed. "Completely in love with him. We want him on the show forever. It's like, 'Have him be mine! Have him be mine!' We are all fighting over him."
Also impressed? Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams, who danced onstage with Marini at the recent Daytime Emmy Awards.
"It was delicious," said Williams, 46. "He's a wonderful guy. He knew his stuff, and I loved it."
And speaking of Ms. Williams, she tells me she'll be back on Broadway within the year. She was mum on details, but did say it's "a new piece [from] a team I've worked with before."
