Exclusive! On the Road with Sheryl Crow
Eric Charbonneau/WireImage.com
For the last couple of years or so, Hollywood environmentalist Laurie David has spent countless hours with Al Gore; she is one of the Oscar-winning producers of the former vice president's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth.
While Gore's not a bad guy to be hanging with, David has a new bud. For the next few weeks, she's going to be a sort of eco-friendly roadie spending her days and nights—quite literally—with Sheryl Crow.
David and the rocker hit the road Monday for the Stop Global Warming Tour, a two-week tour of 11 college campuses from Dallas to D.C.
So, how's it going so far? Check out the email David sent me last night:

Writing you from the bus heading down highway 610 toward lsu baton rouge. I have to say that traveling with an actual rock star as opposed to a political rock star has its benefits. For example I can borrow sheryl's makeup and blow dryer. And she is a great bus mate, even if she is a little bossy about the bathroom rules. It was freezing cold in dallas and boiling hot in college station. If that doesn't help make our point that global warming is here and we have to solve it now!, I don't know what does. Come see us on the road!!!!
