Exclusive! Laura Linney Engaged

I can exclusively report that Laura Linney is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Marc Schauer.

Linney’s rep just confirmed to me that Schauer popped the question last week.

“They are very happy,” the rep said. No wedding date has been set.

No further details were given.

Linney, 43, will next be seen opposite Scarlett Johansson as an uptight socialite in The Nanny Diaries, out this Friday.

This will be Linney’s second marriage. She and David Adkins were divorced in 2000.
