Diaz Love Update!

Just because Cameron Diaz went solo to Sunday's MTV Awards doesn't mean she had a lonely weekend. I just got word that she did spend some time with her maybe beau, magician Criss Angel. The two were spotted having dinner at celebrity hot spot Il Sole with Diaz's Shrek boss, DreamWorks honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg.
But Angel had to leave shortly thereafter for NYC for his latest stunt—being enclosed in a clear box encased in cement for 24 hours. Just before the cement box was closed on Monday morning, he reportedly shouted, “This is dedicated to my new girl. You know who you are. I’ll be thinking of you.”
When he safely emerged earlier today, he reportedly said, “I’d like to dedicate this escape to my girl Trouble, aka Cameron. I love you, baby. Have a safe trip to Europe for your Shrek tour.”
Another recent Diaz maybe-paramour, champion surfer Kelly Slater, is expected at a charity dinner tomorrow night at Jiraffe restaurant in Santa Monica, California.
Diaz became chummy with Slater in January shortly after her split from Justin Timberlake. The two were even hanging together in L.A. after she and Angel apparently started seeing each other last month.Cohosted by celebrity chef Raphael Lunetta and the Wild Rock Winery, the event benefits SurfAid, an organization that works to improve the health of people living in remote regions of the world that are popular with surfers.
