Dancing with the Stars Smackdown?

Dancing with the Stars may want to consider a spinoff called Fighting with the Stars: The 90210 Edition.
I'm told that former Dancing contestant Ian Ziering's apparent big mouth has landed him in hot water with his former 90210 costar Jennie Garth.
Why? Because Ziering was the one who broke the news last week to a celebrity weekly that Garth was in talks to appear on Dancing's new season in the fall.
That’s a big no-no for Dancing producers, my source says. Confidentiality agreements are said to warn hopeful contestants that if word gets out about their participation—or even the possibility of participating—they'll be dropped.
Garth, I'm told, was so worried that she'd be cut that she "called producers asking them not to," my source tells me.
Garth's manager, Randy James, insisted to me this afternoon that neither Garth nor anyone representing her had any such discussions with the producers after Ziering's snafu.
"There was never a threat that Jennie couldn't be on the show," James said. James added that Dancing has been after Garth to be on the show since the first season.
"They are having conversations now," James said. "It is something she is considering, but it's a big undertaking."
A rep for Dancing declined to comment because ABC has a policy not to comment on any casting.
