Crisscrossing the Country: Paris, Avril and Ludacris

There may have been cloudy skies on Saturday, but that didn’t stop Paris Hilton from hittin’ the beach. The hotel heiress had yet another party on Saturday at her summer rental. Kid Rock, Russell Simmons, his model girlfriend Porschla Coleman and Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin stopped by.

Later that night, Hilton was spotted a few doors down at the LG House for New York nightlife queen Amy Sacco’s Bungalow 8 party. Hilton's ex, Greek gazillionaire Stavros Niarchos, was there, as was Jessica Simpson, her mane man Ken Paves and stylist Jessica Pastor. So were Gina Gershon; Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer; actress Elisha Cuthbert’s two former boyfriends, Trace Ayala and professional hockey player Sean Avery;  surfing god Laird Hamilton; and celebrity offspring Rumer Willis.

Willis returned the next day for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino-hosted day at LG to play a baseball videogame with a hunky blue-eyed blonde and to lounge outside and smoke cigs.

Ludacris held a pre-Teen Choice Awards bash at Malibu’s BeachBody Silver Spoon House on Saturday. You gotta love a man who keeps it simple—the menu of chicken, chips and corn on the cob was catered by the not very fancy Barney’s Beanery.

There was some swag at Ludacris’ get-together. Regina King scooped up a T-Bags dress, while Chingy went home with a bag full of Z-Brand clothing and Havaianas flip-flops.

Speaking of swag, Emmy Rossum made it to Backstage Creations’ official Teen Choice Awards gifting lounge at L.A.’s Gibson theater for a new Tamagotchi Connection Virtual Pet.

Vanessa Hudgens was also there, giggling when she saw her face on the Mattel Games’ High School Musical edition of the Uno card game. The young starlet and girlfriend of her Musical costar, Zac Efron, also walked away with new pink Chi hair flatiron.

The Mikki shoes from Guess were a hot item. Avril Lavigne and Sophia Bush each picked up a pair.

Even E!’s new reality-TV star Snoop Dogg did a little swaggin' at Teen Choice with a Logitech AudioStation Express.

In much more informal celeb get-together news, Sheryl Crow and Eva Longoria hit Il Sole in West Hollywood for dinner and chitchat. Shakira did the same a couple of nights later.

In New York, tennis siblings Venus and Serena Williams shopped at the DKNY boutique on Madison Avenue, where they checked out the new line of fall boots.

In Chicago, Kanye West hit the James Hotel's J Bar for some ginger-peach martinis and a cheesecake lollipop tree.

Keanu Reeves was spotted on Sunday buying an issue of Wired magazine at a Las Vegas airport newsstand before boarding a Southwest flight to Burbank, California. The Matrix star was sportin’ what looked like it could have been a hickey on his neck.
