Fresh off his Words With Friends run-in and mudslinging with American Airlines, Alec Baldwin has now angered Greyhound.
No, he didn't get thrown off one of their buses, but...
Baldwin he did diss the company in a piece he penned for the Huffington Post yesterday trying to explain his flying snafu. "There are many now who walk the aisles of an airplane with a whistle around their neck and a clipboard in their hands and they have made flying a Greyhound bus experience," he wrote.
Greyhound president and CEO Dave Leach insists that's not how his company rolls.
Leach released an open letter to Baldwin today inviting him to take a trip with him from New York to Boston.
Writing that Greyhound isn't what it used to be, Leach said hundreds of its new buses now offer amenities such as power outlets and free Wi-Fi.
"[W]e don't require our customers to turn off their electronic devices...ever," he wrote. "You could therefore play Words With Friends during your entire trip and nobody would give you any grief over it."
Baldwin's rep, Matthew Hiltzik, did not immediately comment for this story.
