Kate Bosworth may have appeared smitten last night with Jim Sturgess, her costar in the upcoming flick 21, but I have been assured they are just friends.
The Superman Returns actress, 24, who has been dating Brit model James Rousseau since her split from Orlando Bloom in 2006, hit a Hollywood screening of Sturgess’ new Beatles-centric movie, Across the Universe, at Los Angeles' Egyptian Theater.
She then hopped over to the Universe after-party at the legendary Viper Room, where she and Sturgess, 28, hit the dance floor. At one point, Bosworth grabbed Sturgess’ fedora and wore it for about an hour.
They’re so close, Sturgess even followed Bosworth into the ladies' bathroom at about 1 a.m. While in there, the two hung out with Sturgess’ Universe costar Evan Rachel Wood, and Wood's mom, Sara Lynn Moore.Also during the fiesta, Sturgess and the Universe cast hit the stage to perform a slew of the 33 Beatles tracks featured in the movie. Things slowed down around 2 a.m., after the entire cast and director Julie Taymor sang "Hey Jude."
