"We were both rally for each other," Chris told Ben. "We're competitive but supportive. We don't talk much since," Chris joked, "but he should return my calls."

Get ready High School Musical fans, Vanessa Hudgens hopes to surprise you with her badass turn in the stylized action flick Sucker Punch.

The actress talked to E!'s Ben Lyons at Comic-Con last weekend while promoting the upcoming Zack Snyder film, and when asked how HSM fans would react to her hard-core, gun-toting character, Hudgens said, "They're gonna be like, 'That's Vanessa?!' Hopefully. That's what I'm striving for."

Complete persona shifts aside, Hudgens also talked about the insane training regimen she and costars Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone and Emily Browning endured to get in shape for the film—"The first day I was dead lifting 135!"—her love for Halo and why she loves Comic-Con.

Comedy master Will Ferrell knows to give credit where credit is due.

In this case, it's his Other Guys costar Mark Wahlberg who earns the funnyguy's praises for being, as Will put it, "funnier than I was!"

Just how solid were Wahlberg's comedy chops? "I was like, 'I'm about to get fired off this movie...That I helped write!" Ferrell told our own Ben Lyons while promoting his new cop comedy last weekend at Comic-Con.

The classy Wahlberg though, was quick to return the praise: "Are you kidding me? I'm working with Will Ferrell...all the funniest people in comedy," he told Ben. "They're gonna make me look like a genius!"

Check out the video above to hear more from Ferrell on why he always runs from the law and why Wahlberg will soon be a hero to the city of Boston.

Blake Lively busted onto the superhero scene at Comic-Con last weekend.

E!s own Ben Lyons caught up with the gorgeous (and secretly geeky?) Gossip Girl star in San Diego to see how the Green Lantern's been shaping up and learned the star's role research was rooted in the pop-culture convention:

"The first thing I said to Jeff Johns [head of DC] was, 'I don't want to get slammed at Comic-Con...Please tell me everything I need to know!' Before we even started shooting, my concern was Comic-Con," Lively said.

Check out the clip to see Blake dish more on being a leading lady, what makes Ryan Reynolds a great DC comics hero (aside from his love for Lively's show, natch), and what saying bonjour to a new G. Girl location was like.

If Olivia Wilde had her way, costumes would be mandatory at Comic-Con.

This year is the Green Hornet team's second trip to Comic-Con, but star Seth Rogen is characteristically nonchalant about it. He views the somewhat plagued production as no biggie.

When Daily 10's Sal Masekela brings up the casting issues, car crash and bomb scare, Seth simply shrugs, "It all makes for a good movie."
