Homer Simpson is a movie star. At least after this weekend he is, along with Bart, Maggie and the Comic Book Guy. With 56 percent of prescreening ticket sales, Springfield's finest sit atop this week's Fandango 5 (featured on Fandango.com's Fan Buzz Top 10 page).

What's impressive about this week's list is that Harry Potter 5, despite drawing less cash than expected last week, holds the number two spot. Hairspray, Chuck and Larry and Transformers, in its fourth week, round out the Fandango 5.
