L.Seething, but Ever So Sweetly

Lauren Conrad is blogging mad, and she feels betrayed. Though not by her friends Audrina and Brody, but apparently by Us Weekly, who she says unduly dramatized her life, prompting L.C. to register her disapproval on her MySpace blog, thusly:
I just wanted to take a moment to clear something up. I recently did an interview to talk about the show coming back on and what everyone had to look forward to. Unfortunately it was turned into yet another "poor me" story. The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings. I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or Brody. I love them both and said nothing to contradict this. I understand that headlines sell magazines, but I value my friendships above magazine sales any day.
We’re shocked, simply shocked that there may be exaggeration and distortion going on in the celebrity press. We must get to the bottom of this—right after we dig in to the hot new story that Brad and Angelina’s unborn twins are feuding and have hired warring publicists. Stay tuned.
