Lohans Battle for Non-Lindsay Offspring

And in this latest installment of As the Lohans' World Turns...

While Lindsay Lohan gallivants around the globe making the publicity rounds for Georgia Rules, closer to home her divorced parents are doing their part to fill the family's headline quota as their ongoing battle over their three younger children instensified.

Michael and Dina Lohan turned up Tuesday for a hearing in Long Island's Nassau Family Court to work out visitation rights for 18-year-old son Michael, 12-year-old daughter Aliana, and 10-year-old son Dakota.

The session was held behind closed doors, but, per New York's Newsday, attorneys were negotiating for Michael's rights to be restored now that he's out of prison after serving a 21-month sentence for assault and DUI. The elder Lohan said he found God while behind bars and has become an ordained minister.

Upon the leaving the courthouse, Michael Lohan told reporters that his only priority right now is getting his family situation sorted out.

"I just want to resolve this, and I wish for the best for the children, and for Dina and myself," he said.

For her part, Dina Lohan had no comment except to plug Georgia Rules.

"The movie was amazing," she opined. "You should see it."

(So far, not many people have taken her advice. After garnering mostly negative reviews, the comedy-drama, costarring Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman, has tallied just $13 million worldwide in two weeks. overshadowed by the likes of Spider-Man 3 and Shrek the Third.)

The next court date in the custody battle was set for June 8 to give the ex-couple time to reach an amicable agreement.

Lindsay Lohan, meanwhile, has plenty to distract her from her family problems. She has two dramas in the can for releases later this year, I Know Who Killed Me and Chapter 27, and is set to present a Golden Popcorn trophy at next month's MTV Movie Awards.

She is also heading back into the studio to record her third album later this summer, with reps describing it as having more of an "urban" sound than her previous releases.
