As Lindsay Lohan works it hard at the Los Angeles County morgue to make good for scofflaw ways, her father, Michael, just had another run in of his own with police.
Tampa cops arrested the elder Lohan early this morning and he was charged with beating up his live-in girlfriend, Kate Major, authorities confirm.
For the second time this year.
Michael, 51, who told police he lives in Fort Lauderdale, was arrested after cops responded to a call from his apartment complex at 1:10 a.m.
Lindsay's troublemaking dad, who gave his occupation as director of marketing for Larasan Pharmaceuticals of Fort Lauderdale, was taken to the hospital before being taken to jail because he was complaining of chest pains.
After checking himself out, he was placed under arrest for suspicion of domestic violence and taken from St. Joseph's Hospital to Hillsborough County's jail. Tampa police said more details would be released later Tuesday.
Like his daughter, Michael knows his way around the police blotter, having been arrested in March for allegedly holding Major against her will.
He was booked on three felony charges in West Hollywood after he allegedly prevented Major from calling calling 911 and, in the process, caused her minor injuries. Michael was charged with inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization.
That night Michael once again complained of chest pains and was taken to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before he was booked.
In July, a Beverly Hills judge dismissed the charges against Michael after he and Major reconciled.
UPDATE: Michael Lohan was released Oct. 26 on $5,000 bail. A judge told him to stay away from Kate Major until his next court date.
