Leonardo DiCaprio si prepara ad un nuovo film

Leonardo DiCaprio sta per intraprendere un programma di protezione dei testimoni.
Stando a Variety, la star di Revolutionary Road rivestirà il ruolo di protagonista in Beat the Reaper, storia comica di suspense su di un ex killer che si nasconde sotto le mentite spoglie di un dottore di un pronto soccorso di Manhattan, fino a che un mafioso non lo riconosce.
DiCaprio parteciperà anche alla produzione del film, un adattamento del recente romanzo di esordio di Josh Bazell.
L’attore hollywoodiano si era aggiudicato recensioni molto positive ed una nomination ai Golden Globe grazie alla recitazione in Revolutionary Road, accanto alla sua ex compagna in Titanic, Kate Winslet.
Di recente DiCaprio ha terminato le riprese del thriller di Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island, la sua quarta collaborazione con il regista. Inoltre, sta lavorando ad una versione cinematografica, interpretata da attori in carne ed ossa, del classico anime giapponese Akira.
