That poor fence.

Lost Hills Police Dept. confirmed to E! News that around six this morning, a 20-year-old motorist, who was driving with a suspended license, took out a stop sign and crashed into a light pole and fence of a residence in the gated neighborhood of Hidden Hills, Calif.

And it looks like the house belongs to our friend LeAnn Rimes.

LHPD also told us that the young driver appeared to be under the influence, but this cannot be confirmed until toxicology results are returned.

Although Rimes' reps wouldn't comment, the starlet herself took to Twitter to discuss the incident.

"To address the accident that happened in front of our home this morning, everyone is ok and safe. However, if drunk driving was involved it is terribly sad," she tweets.

"My family could have been seriously injured and any situation where someone is drinking and driving should not be taken lightly. Needless to say, it was a very unsettling call to receive this morning. Thank goodness the young driver and everyone at home are ok."

The actress and singer is currently in North Carolina, so she doesn't really know the extent of the damage, but feels that it will all hit her once she's back home.

She replied to a tweet with, "Yes, we are ok. I'm sure it will hit me when I go home tonight and see our fence. The pics are terrifying."
