"King of Queens" Queen Weds
The queen of Queens has a new king.
Leah Remini, who stars opposite Kevin James in CBS' hit comedy The King of Queens, has made it official with her offscreen beau.
The 33-year-old actress exchanged vows with longtime fiancé Angelo Pagan on Saturday in Las Vegas in front of 150 guests, her publicist, Samantha Hill, confirmed Tuesday.
No word whether that other king, Elvis, presided over the ceremony.
The Brooklyn-born babe took herself off the market last year when Pagan popped the question during a candlelit dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant. The two have been inseparable since, frequently seen escorting each down the red carpet at Hollywood premieres and award shows.
Remini is best known for playing Carrie, the spitfire legal secretary wife of James' parcel delivery driver husband, Doug Hefferman, in The King of Queens. Now entering sixth season, the popular sitcom follows the trials and tribulations of love and marriage of the blue-collar New York couple.
The actress, whom James once hailed as "having the mouth of a construction worker in the body of a model," recently appeared in this year's frat-guy comedy Old School with Will Farrell.
A former child star who got her start with a stint in Saved by the Bell, Remini has also appeared on several notable TV shows, including Friends, NYPD Blue, The Commish, Cheers and Who's the Boss.
Pagan is a singer-actor who had a small role in 2001's John Travolta thriller Swordfish and, has guest starred on 24, Dharma and Greg and, yes, The King of Queens.
