"King" James' Royal Heir
King of Queens star Kevin James is the proud papa of a little princess.
The small-screen star and his model wife, Steffiana De La Cruz, welcomed their first child on Friday, a daughter they named Sienna-Marie.
No other details about the tot were released.
James, 40, and De La Cruz, 30, met on a blind date arranged by the actor's interior decorator.
They hit it off right away, despite the fact that De La Cruz copped to never having watched James' CBS sitcom.
The twosome got engaged in September 2003 and tied the knot in June 2004 with 200 of their nearest and dearest looking on.
James got his start on television thanks in part to a little help from longtime pal and fellow comic, Ray Romano. After James appeared in a recurring role on Everybody Loves Raymond from 1997-98, he scored his own spinoff series.
The eighth season of King of Queens, which also stars Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller, debuted last month. The show also airs daily in syndication.
Apart from his television travails, James has appeared in several feature films, including a lead role in Hitch, opposite Will Smith, and a bit part in 50 First Dates, with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
Up ahead, the new dad has signed on to appear in a slate of family-friendly films, including the comedies Field Trip and Man in Uniform, and will lend his voice to a pair of animated films.
Aside from modeling, new mom De La Cruz has appeared in the syndicated cop drama Pacific Blue and had small roles in the low-budget horror film Soulkeeper, the straight-to-video action flick Redemption and the TV movie Something to Sing About.
