A woman's work is never done. Particularly when that woman is Kim Kardashian and the work at hand is shooting down the neverending rumors that seem plague her private life.

And that's where Ryan Seacrest came in this morning, as the E! reality starlet phoned in to her boss's KISS-FM radio show this morning and tackled the latest litany of headline-grabbing rumors (both true and false) making the rounds.

And there are some doozies.

Starting with the most head-scratching of the bunch, the tabloid reports that surfaced last week that Kim is in the process of adopting a child.

"No, I don't even know where that came from, but what's so crazy is the magazines can easily call and ask and we would say 'yes' or 'no,' " she told Seacrest. "But that's not true.

"I've heard so many ridiculous things and to be honest, I used to read all the magazines and watch things. I don't even look at any of that anymore. I've taken my Google alerts off my phone!"

Good thing, because it'd definitely be buzzing nonstop this week, particularly in the wake of continued reports that she's not only dating Kanye West, but considering marrying him. Which she claims aren't true, for several reasons. Starting with…

"I think I'm still married," she said, prompting some good-natured laughter from Ryan.

"You know, I'm really not dating right now at all. I'm focusing on work. I know I always say this, but I'm just trying to get through my situation and have fun."

As for rumors of a romance with Kanye, which surfaced after the duo was photographed together during Paris Fashion Week—she went for one day because "Ryan Seacrest gave me the day off working"—she shoots them down as patently made up.

"We've been friends for years. We just support each other, that's what friends do."

They then moved on to the headline that just won't go away, namely her feud with Jon Hamm.

"I figured you'd be premiering at the Mad Men premiere sometime soon," Ryan egged.

"Totally," Kardashian replied, prompting Seacrest to compliment the star on handling the press surrounding the feud "brilliantly."

"I mean, I just feel like, to be honest, it's all about trying to stay focused and keep everything positive," she said. "It really takes a lot more energy and effort to be harsh than to say something nice and be positive."

Way to stick to the high road, Kim!
