Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are meeting face-to-face for the first time since Kim announced she was filing for divorce. Kim flew out to Minnesota to visit Humphries and was spotted outside of his house talking on the phone.
Humphries has been lying low in his home state since news of the split broke, leaning on family and friends for support and training for basketball season.
"He's sad," a source close to Humphries recently told E! News. "He doesn't want a war. He's laying low."
Kim just returned to Los Angeles on Friday after spending two intensely scrutinized days in Australia to promote the Kardashian Kollection handbag line. Kim canceled her final appearance to be close to her friends and family during this difficult time.
Last week, she released a statement in which she talked about her feelings about the situatiion, saying in part: "I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn't know how to and didn't want to disappoint a lot of people."
