Kick-Ass Wedding: Director Sam Taylor-Wood, 45, Marries 22-Year-Old Actor Aaron Johnson

Filmmaker ties the knot with her much younger love

Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson are one May-December couple giving new meaning to the expression, "Age ain't nothing but a number!"

Sam, 45, and Aaron, who is 23 years younger than her, said "I do" in Somerset on Thursday, the couple told E! News in a statement.

Dating since 2009, the couple have two children together: Wylda Rae, born in 2010, and Romy Hero, born in January of this year. Both Sam and the Kick-Ass star will now take the name Taylor-Johnson.

The newlyweds met when Sam cast Aaron in her directorial debut Nowhere Boy, in which the actor played John Lennon.

She also has two daughters, Anjelica and Jessie, from her previous marriage to art dealer and gallery owner Jay Jopling.

The actor will next appear in Anna Karenina opposite Keira Knightley.
