Khloé Kardashian Odom is often the mediator of her family's disputes, but now the tables have turned for the reality star.

Chantal Spears (also known as Ronald Spears) is suing Khloé for allegedly assaulting her outside a Hollywood nightclub in 2009. Khloé disputes that characterization, saying she was only acting in "self defense."

Now, Judge Malcolm H. Mackey has ordered the assault case to mediation, E! News confirms.

Both parties must meet and complete the mediation by June 29. After the mediation is completed, Khloé, Chantal and their legal counsels must return to court with the results on Aug. 3.

Let's hope they work things out.
