Keyshia Cole may be making her acting debut in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too? later this year, but right now, she's not questioning these things.
The former Grammy nominee and BET reality star is engaged to Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Daniel "Boobie" Gibson, the star confirms in a statement.
"I can confirm she is engaged and has an incredible ring," Cole's rep told Us Weekly.
Not unlike Russell Brand and Katy Perry, the baller popped the question on New Year's Eve.
"[It was] an absolute surprise," the rep says. "When he asked her to marry him, she was flabbergasted. He presented her with the ring and her mouth dropped in amazement. It's too beautiful for words."
In addition to a new album and the beginning of an acting career, the 28-year-old singer is expecting her first child with Gibson in 2010. Talk about a big year!
