Kevin Dillon's Entourage Adds One More
Kevin Dillon may play part of the Hollywood in-crowd on his HBO hit, but in real life he's broken from showbiz tradition: He's given his offspring a non trauma-inducing name.
The on-screen playboy and his model-actress wife Jane Stuart welcomed conventionally-monikered daughter Ava Dillon in Los Angeles last week, Us Weekly reports. The new babe was reportedly born via C-section in a local hospital and is the couple's first child.
No vital statistics were released on the new stork delivery, nor was an exact birth date.
"Kevin had to cut out of shooting the show to be with her," an unnamed "pal" of the actor's told the magazine.
No word on whether the Entourage posse, or Oscar-nominated Uncle Matt, helped partake in a celebratory cigar, but the former group was present for another recent milestone in the life of Johnny Drama's alter ego.
Dillon, 40, tied the knot with then-expecting Stuart, 28, in Sin City Apr. 22, in a King of Rock-themed ceremony held, appropriately enough, at the Las Vegas Chapel's Elvis Chapel.
The duo reportedly plunked down $349 for the Elvis Hound Dog Special, a nuptial package that included an Elvis impersonator minister, Elvis-centric vows and, sparing no expense, no less than three tunes from the King (impersonator) himself.
Dillon's costar Kevin Connolly was also present at the ultra-cazh and ultra-short ceremony, which reportedly wrapped up with a hubby and wife rendition of "Hunk of Burning Love." Ah, romance.
The new papa can currently be seen on the big screen in Warner Bros. disaster epic remake Poseidon. The third season of Entourage kicks off in June.
