I just took the plunge, getting proper bangs (a fringe, I would call it) before last week's Spike TV's Scream Awards and I am loving them...
I can wear them ironed straight with a headband for more of a retro look or slightly messy and imperfect for an edgier '80s vibe (like I did at the International Interior Designer of the Year Awards).
Nicole Richie did the same sort of shaggy rocker hair with bangs this summer and she looks great. It frames the face so nicely and makes you look pretty but with a bit of personality.
And besides, it also covers any forehead imperfections. Especially if you're a bit older and want to mask any wrinkles. Forget Botox, "just get bangs" should be the new Hollywood motto!
