Ke$ha Raising $$$ for Nashville Flood Victims

Ke$ha's talking about getting crunk, crunk for a good cause.

The "Tik Tok" singer announced plans Thursday for a benefit concert for victims of the Nashville flood, which has driven thousands from their homes and left 21 people dead in the Tennessee capital and surrounding areas.

Twenty-one counties in the state have been declared federal disaster areas and flood damages may top $1 billion, according to the Tennessean.

"I'm thrilled to announce that I will be playing a show to help benefit Nasvhille, my hometown," the sexy Tennessean said in a statement. "One hundred percent of the profits from ticket sales will go to help the victims of these devastating floods. Nashville helped shape me as an artist and as a person and my love for this city is beyond words.

"I will continue to do anything I can to help rebuild this city and support the families and animals who have been affected by this tragedy."

So far, so good. Ke$ha's show is scheduled for June 16 at Limelight in Nashville.

Also today, the Country Music Association announced that 50 percent of the proceeds from the 2010 CMA Music Festival will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for flood relief. The other 50 percent is going where it always goes: to Metro Nashville Public Schools' Keep the Music Playing program to fund music education for youngsters.

Tonight, Naomi Judd, Alison Krauss, Darius Rucker, Bo Bice and more are teaming for Working 4 You: Flood Relief With Vince Gill & Friends, airing on the local NBC affiliate, WSMV-TV Channel 4 from 7 p.m.  to 10 p.m. ET.
