Katy Perry has gone from kissing a girl to trying not to hurl.

The pop songstress has scrapped her concerts scheduled for the weekend due to a medical problem.

So what exactly is ailing her?

No, it's not a bad case of Smufitis for the star of the upcoming Smufs remake (although we got pretty queasy looking at the trailer).

"An attack of food poisoning leading to severe dehydration" is the culprit, per a statement on her website.

Perry performed Thursday at Summerfest in Milwaukee and managed to make it through her set despite feeling ill. A doctor was on hand to attend to her both before and after her appearance.

Her supersized stomachache has forced her to call of tonight's show in Chicago and Saturday's gig in St. Paul, Minn. Promoters have rescheduled the concerts for, respectively Aug. 21 and 23. All tickets will be honored for the new dates or fans can get a refund.

"I apologize to my fans in Chicago and the Twin Cities for not being able to perform this weekend," says Perry from her sickbed. "But I am going to return in a few weeks to give them the very best show ever!"

Feel better, Katy.
