Katy Perry's not a teenage dream for nothing.
But there was a time when this California Gurl wasn't exactly happy with her, um, girls.
"When I was a kid...I had enormous boobs that I didn't know what to do with," says the singer in the March issue of Elle.
Unfortunately, any attempt to keep them under wraps during her adolescent years often proved futile.
"I wore minimizers, which were not cute," recalls Perry. "Those thick-ass straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder."
And while she views her current self as "Bettie Page meets Wonder Woman meets Doris Day meets Judy Jetson meets Natalie Wood meets Daphne Guinness meets Chloë Sevigny," the 26-year-old songstress says that when she was younger "all [she] wanted was to look like Kate Moss.
"Little did I know that these things would come in handy someday," she points out.
You know, for, like, spraying whipped cream and shooting off fireworks and stuff.
