Kathy Griffin Seeks Big D
Matt Moline is no longer on Kathy Griffin's A-list, or D-list, for that matter.
The feisty red-headed comedian is seeking a divorce from Moline, her husband of four and a half years, citing irreconcilable differences.
Per court papers filed Friday in Los Angeles, Griffin, 43, is asking a judge to divvy up their assets based on a prenuptial agreement. She is also asking that no spousal support be awarded to Moline.
They have no children together.
Calls to Griffin's attorney were not returned late Monday.
The couple married on Valentine's Day 2001, with Griffin's Suddenly Susan cohort Brooke Shields among those in the wedding party.
Moline, a computer programmer who owns an IT consulting firm, frequently appeared on Griffin's Bravo reality series, My Life on the D-List, playing the role of supportive husband and a frequently calming presence in the kinetic comic's life.
A Chicago native, Griffin has worked the red carpet for E! during the past year. She is also headlining the current Bravo comedy special Kathy Griffin Is ... Not Nicole Kidman, which was filmed at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
The stand-up vet will hit the road this fall, playing comedy venues and theaters in cities from San Francisco to Houston.
Griffin will appear in an October episode of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and is set to appear in the film The Last Guy on Earth next year, per IMDb.com.
