Five Awesome Things We Learned From the Sundance Film Festival

The curtain is almost down on this year's Sundance Film Festival.
The illustrious Grand Jury Prize and other top honors will be handed out this weekend, but there's already been enough partying, canoodling, deal-making and oxygen-giving over the past week to last us all year.
But what did we particularly take away from this year's snowy cinematic extravaganza? Here it is:

Dear Ted:
I think it was very shrewd of Brett Ratner to resign from the Oscars as opposed to forcing the Academy to fire him. Hopefully, he will learn from this experience and in the future decide to think before he speaks.

Dear I Hear Ya:
I think the bottom line on this item is that he is out. Brett needs a muzzle until he can learn to keep his mouth closed. Thankfully, you can't say the things he said, especially in Hollywood (Isaiah Washington knows this lesson only too well). Brett's made his bed, and whether or not he resigned or the Academy asked him to resign remains to be revealed. Everything in the Academy's immediate zero-tolerance messaging on the topic points to the latter.

I saw some pictures of Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, and I have to say they are adorable and they seem to be very solid and couldn't care less about the harsh statement made by her ex-husband. Should we expect some good news soon, like a wedding or baby?
