Back to a simpler era, when 15-year-olds did not get Brazilian bikini waxes and there was no such thing as an "eyelash bar." When "weaves" meant tapestries and not ponytails imported by the pound from India—remember those halcyon days, when hair was just hair?
They did exist and we have the proof, courtesy of a vintage family photo of the Kardashian gals.
Aye, that was a time of innocence, when bangs were no-nonsense and moms could just slap a bow on a toddler and go. Then again, take a closer look at Kim Kardashian: Looks like somebody's had a glam squad since before she could drive.
That's her on top. Khloé Kardashian Odom is on the far left, followed by mom Kris Jenner, Kim, family matriarch M.J. and, finally, big sis Kourtney Kardashian. It's pretty clear that Kim knew her angles way before she had to tackle algebra.
And would you look at that? Khloé used to look like a child model from a cereal box. Ringlets! Who knew?
Anyway, cut to 2012 and it's pretty evident that those gals still have awesome hair. Kris has not turned her back on her classic short ‘do, though she has wisely jettisoned the 80s-style spikes. But we especially love the soft waves that Khloé wears so well.
That said, can we be honest? We'd love to see those ringlets again.
