Coachella Alert: Kanye West Storming the Desert With Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire

Kanye West better remember to drink a lot of water out in the desert this year, or else he really will be seeing beautiful, dark twisted fantasies.

The rapper is returning to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for the first time since 2006 to share headlining duties with Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire, all Grammy-nominated acts that show how prestigious the now three-day jam extravaganza in Indio, Calif., has become.

The festival takes place April 15-17, with Kings of Leon joining the Black Keys, Interpol, Chemical Brothers, Lauryn Hill, Brandon Flowers (taking a break from the Killers, Cee Lo Green, the Cold War Kids and dozens more to get the party started on Friday.

Saturday night will find Coachella regular Arcade Fire tearing it up, capping off a day of performances by artists including Mumford & Sons (a Grammy nominee for Best New Artist), Erykah Badu, Bright Eyes, Animal Collective, New Pornographers and Swell Season.

Finally, West will reign supreme on Sunday, along with the Strokes, Duran Duran, PJ Harvey, the National, Jimmy Eat World, She Wants Revenge, Neon Trees and many, many more who will keep the alt-rock, hip-hop, electronica and other sounds cranking on at least six stages at the Empire Polo Fields.
