Justin Bieber Nobody's Daddy—Dogs Included

Justin Bieber has daddy issues.
In addition to denying a fan's claims he fathered her baby girl, he's quashing reports that he and girlfriend Selena Gomez adopted a dog together.
While stopping by Ryan Seacrest's radio show today to promote his new Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, the heartthrob dished on the puppy parenting rumors.

"It's so funny because people keep talking about this dog and I don't even have a dog! I never got a new dog! I didn't adopt a dog," he told Ryan.
The Biebs does have a family dog named Sam who lives with his grandparents in Canada, but the "Baby" singer assured Ryan the pooch Gomez was recently pictured with was certainly not the loving couple's. So who did adopt it?
"A friend of mine did," he said. "I don't have anything to do with the dog. I think he's a cute dog, but he's not my dog. I love dogs and I condone people adopting from the shelter."

Biebs also discussed the new studio album he's working on, saying he's right at the beginning of figuring out whom he's going to collaborate with and what sound he is going for.
"I'm trying to work with different people, and try to find a new sound people aren't used to hearing," he said. "It's like when Justin Timberlake broke free and did FutureSex/LoveSounds, It was a different vibe—the acoustic guitar over the hard drums. I'm surrounding myself with lots of different people. Usher is one of my mentors, so he's going to be helping with the album."
The pop star says he is looking to make a sound that is "something completely new."
Guess adopting a new pup will have to wait.
