Believe it, Beliebers.

Your favorite pop idol, Justin Bieber, has officially graduated from high school!

E! News confirms that the "Boyfriend" singer quietly finished up all his required course work to earn himself a diploma as part of the 2012 graduating class of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in his native Stratford, Ontario.

Tim Doherty, principal of St. Michael, tells E! News that while Bieber did not turn up in person for the commencement ceremony that took place last Thursday night, the 18-year-old crooner's name was included in the program and he'll be receiving his hard earned diploma.

"Justin's grandparents live in Stratford and will be picking it up and giving it to him when they see him at some point," Doherty said.

So how did Justin manage to juggle getting an education with the demands of pop stardom? After all, the guy's got priorities, like his current global tour in support of his latest studio (and fourth No. 1) album, Believe, spending quality time with gal-pal Selena Gomez, keeping up with his 24 million-plus Twitter followers and plugging his own perfume.

The headmaster added that Bieber participated in an e-learning program and met all the requirements needed to graduate which include 30 credits, 40 hours of community service and passing a literacy test.

"It is good to see that Justin values a high school education. He obviously had to overcome obstacles that a typical teenager does not have to overcome. Good for him for that," noted Doherty. "It is something his parents and grandparents wanted for him and he followed through on it."

As E! News reported last month, it's fairly common for teenage entertainers to finish their education outside the classroom via home schooling programs.

This good news comes as Bieber's recent chat with the host of Mojo in the Morning caught people's attention, as the titular radio host maintained that the new grad's single "Boyfriend" sounds like Justin Timberlake.

"Man, that's crazy because our voices sound nothing alike," the popster replied. "I mean, I'm not trying to sound like anyone. Saying I sound like someone else is not really a compliment. ... I think if you were to say 'I definitely heard some Justin Timberlake-esque things in your sound,' I would take that as a compliment.

To his credit, Bieber gave props to J.T., telling the radio host that Timberlake is "super talented."

In the meantime, while we wait to hear whether Bieber will give it the old college try, we're anxious to see his high school yearbook photo.
