Jon Cryer's little man is OK, but his ex-wife is in a heap of trouble.

The Two and a Half Men star's former missus, Sarah Trigger, was arrested Wednesday night at her home in Hermosa Beach, Calif., on suspicion of child abuse, E! News has learned.

While Cryer and Trigger have a 9-year-old son, Charlie Austin, he was not involved, contrary to earlier reports. Charlie was not at home during the incident, and Cryer's rep said the boy is doing OK.

According to a spokesman for the Hermosa Beach Police Department, officers arrived at Trigger's residence at approximately 10:47 p.m. after receiving a call from her current husband (whom she married after divorcing Cryer and from whom she's now separated) regarding an injury sustained by their 2-year-old son. The boy had marks on his neck, police said.

Trigger, a British-born actress whose credits include Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and an episode of CSI: Miami, allegedy gave conflicting accounts regarding the child's "accident."

Trigger was subsequently arrested for suspicion of child abuse and booked into the HBPD jail before being released on $100,000 bail.

The Department of Children and Family Services is on the case, and the injured child is now said to be "in a safe environment."

Cryer and Trigger tied the knot in 1999 and divorced five years later. The Pretty in Pink star has since remarried, swapping vows in 2007 with entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner.
