Dear Joan:
I love seeing the likes of Kate Middleton and other celebs in dresses and wedges on holiday, but is it practical for a regular person? I don't want to wear jeans and sneakers, but what else will be comfortable while traveling and walking around?
—Eurotripper

Dear Euro Babe:

I agree, no jean and sneakers, please! Wedges are absolutely great for walking around, especially if the heel isn't too high. If you can't do heels at all, espadrilles and ballet flats are also stylish but comfortable options for seeing the sights. Have a great trip!

Dear Joan:
My son will be married this October and I found a beautiful dark plum Jkara gown. The top has bugle beads and bling and the bottom is silk with a chiffon top. Question: What color shoes and bag?
—Cris

Dear MIL:
Mazel tov on your son's wedding! The gown sounds great. I'd suggest pairing it with a color that complements but doesn't take attention away from your dress, like a tan or chocolate brown. Or depending on the color of the bling on your dress, you could keep the theme going with a matching silver or gold. Good luck, mom!

Dear Joan:
Where do you get these beautiful accessories? You look amazing.

Dear Gem:
Thank you, my dear, I don't go anywhere without my accessories! Most of the jewelry I wear is from my QVC collections, but I also have some favorites, like Loree Rodkin, Cezua, Charles Albert and Avakian.

Dear Joan:
I'm 4'9" and a size 1. In magazines I see stars like Kourtney Kardashian wearing '70s-style high-waisted jeans—kinda like mom jeans. Are these stylish and would they look good on a short girl? My friends have been bugging me to try this type, but I'm not sure. (Your show is so funny, Joan. You and George make me laugh.)
—ChaChe

Dear LOLZ:
Thanks for the kind words. A high waist is going to create a longer leg line, so the jeans might actually make you look taller. Hit the changing room with a friend whose fashion sense you trust and try them on. I have a feeling you're going to like what you see.

Dear Joan:
How can I find the beautiful liquid gold jacket your wore on your program? I think it was a Pamela Dennis design. I've got to have one.
—Elena

Dear Midas Minx:
Isn't it gorgeous? My dress two weeks ago was also Pamela Dennis. I've been wearing her for years and had the jacket in my wardrobe for a while. But I suggest you check her out online to see what she's designing this season.

Dear Joan:
Love Fashion Police. Love, love, love your jewelry on QVC and the great advice on how to wear the pieces I purchase. What do you think of the new casual maxidress look? Just between you and me, I am in my 60s and live in very hot climate.
—Pat

Dear Hot Stuff:
That's so nice to hear, thank you! I think a maxidress can be stylish at any age, especially if you dress it up a little with great sandals and jewelry. It'll help you beat the heat and look feminine at the same time.
