Jesse James Parks Himself in Rehab

Jesse James has apparently gone off-road a few too many times.

Sandra Bullock's estranged husband has checked into rehab, his rep confirmed Tuesday.

"Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues," the rep said. "He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage."

The "personal issues" were not identified, but, let's see, where have we heard something like that before...

The seemingly conciliatory move—which was entirely James' idea, a source told People—comes less than two weeks after Bullock split, destination unknown, in the wake of reports that James had a steamy dalliance with a class-act tattoo model.

Since then, three other women have identified themselves as having had flings with the married Monster Garage host.

A day after Bullock is said to have left the couple's home, James issued a public apology to her and his three kids from previous relationships for all the grief he caused them, though he said the initial report of his alleged infidelities was largely "untrue and unfounded."
