Jersey Shore Recap: "Gym, Tan, Who's the Rat?"
Now that Jionni and Snooki are on a break (and she definitely didn't wait to get some cuddling smushing in with Vinny), it's going to be a big party for the rest of the season, right?!
Wrong.
The tension in the house is thicker than ever, and it's mainly centered around one person. If you didn't guess Mike, then where have you been the past three seasons?
Bottles were shattered, words were exchanged and a whole lot of craziness went down…

JWoww made sure to tell Snooks about Mike's inappropriate comment (when he told the whole house that the meatball gave him a sexual favor), which got the little guidette pretty pissed. Of course, mid-conversation, in walks Mike. Reality TV always has impeccable timing.
Snooki tells him to leave and that she hates him, but doesn't fully explain what happened. So being the vengeful type of guy he is, Mike calls his friend Unit to prove that the action down south really did happen.

But there's a twist! Sitch tells all the roommates that he gave Unit Jionni's number so he can spill the beans, in an effort to find out who the rat in the house is.
Um, hello. No one is on your side, Mike! Everyone's "the rat" in this case, and your behind is grass once Snooki finds out.
Even though Mike didn't actually have the deets relayed to Jionni, Snooki was still done with him. And the rest of the Jersey Shore peeps seemed to be over his shenanigans also.

Again with the impeccable timing, just as tension continued to rise, the guys went on a trip to Sicily to visit Vinny's family, while the ladies ventured off to Tuscany for a wine-tasting tour.
The guys didn't let the drama ruin their trip. They enjoyed playing soccer with relatives and looking at awkward teen photos of Vin.
Meanwhile, the girls weren't so lucky. The question of what to do with the information of Snooki's sexual escapade with Vinny was the main discussion while getting crunks from some vino, and Snooks wasn't fond of Jenni's blunt statement that she cheated on Jionni and need to be done with it.

That's a good amount of drama for one episode. But there's more!
Once everyone got back to their Italian home, Snooki decided to give her dad a call. She told him that she misses Jionni, he informed her that the kid changed his Facebook status to single. Oh no he didn't!
That made Snooki call Jionni up and flip out. He was clearly confused since, in his eyes, she broke his heart. And at this moment, Snooks decides to share with Jionni that she and Vin hooked up, but did not have sex.

After saying Vinny is dead the next time he sees him, Jionni hung up. But Snooki called back a little bit later and he told her that he'll give her another chance (what?!).
Then Snooki talked to Vinny to find out exactly what happened the night they hooked up, because apparently she blacked out a little bit, and it turns out they did have sex. Cue another phone call to Jionni. Spill the news. Wait for tempers to flare and lots of bad words we can't write here…
But none of that happens because the episode ends! Ugh!
