Jeri Ryan Treks to Altar

Jeri Ryan has boldly gone down the aisle.

The former Star Trek: Voyager star married French chef Christopher Emé over the weekend at a castle in his native France, People reports.

Ryan, 39, wore a Vera Wang gown as she and Emé, 37, exchanged vows Saturday at the 15th-century Chateau de Noirieux in the Loire Valley, not far from where the groom grew up.

About 120 guests attended the affair, including Ryan's parents and 12-year-old son, Alex. The ceremony was followed by an all-night party and breakfast the following morning at a 16th-century estate, the magazine says.

Ryan, who plays James Woods' tough boss on Shark, co-owns the West Hollywood restaurant Ortolan with Emé. She announced their engagement last year while promoting her gig on the CBS legal drama.

The erstwhile Seven of Nine practically swooned while she described her beau's proposal.

"He brought me home, covered my eyes and took me up to the bedroom," she said. "He had candles lit everywhere and champagne on ice. He had gotten this huge canvas and painted it with words that said, in French, 'And you come with me forever.' "

She also said was willing to make some concessions when it came to planning her nuptials.

"[June] is when the rugby World Cup is in Paris," Ryan admitted. "You know I am in love when I'm planning a wedding around a sporting event."

This is Ryan's second matrimonial go-round, her first occurring in 1991 with onetime U.S. Senate candidate Jack Ryan. The pair initially requested that the court keep the terms of their 1999 divorce under wraps, but their custody fight over Alex was unsealed in 2004, when Jack entered Illinois' senatorial race.

In the court documents, the actress alleged that, during their marriage, her ex had taken her to sex clubs, including one "bizarre club with cages, whips and other apparatus hanging from the ceiling," and encouraged her to get freaky with him in public.

This revelation, not exactly a resume highlight for Jack Ryan, eventually resulted in the Republican candidate withdrawing from the '04 Senate race.

Aside from her Shark and Star Trek bona fides, Ryan recently had a recurring role on The O.C. and appearances on Boston Legal and Two and a Half Men.
