Jennifer Jason Leigh: Now a (Sad) Single White Female

The only words able to incite more fear in a relationship than "single white female" are "irreconcilable differences." Which means it's just not Noah Baumbach's day.
That's because Jennifer Jason Leigh has filed for divorce from her indie dream director hubby after five years of marriage. And sadly just seven months after the birth of their first and only child.
So what brought about the California special?

No one knows. And therein lies the beauty of the catch-all complaint.
What we do know is that Leigh filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court last Monday. She listed Sept. 2, 2005, as their marriage date, but left the date of their separation as TBD.
Leigh, 48, filed the documents under her legal name of Jennifer Morrow. She and the 41-year-old Baumbach (who directed The Squid and the Whale and Margot at the Wedding and cowrote The Fantastic Mr. Fox and, with Leigh, Greenberg) have one child together, Rohmer Emmanuel Baumbach.
The actress is seeking full physical custody of the boy and spousal support, but has asked for visitation rights for her estranged hubby.
