Jennifer Aniston's Uninvited Guest
Apparently, the official dissolution of Jennifer Aniston's marriage last week inspired one gentleman caller to pay the actress a surprise visit.
Santa Barbara resident David Hesterbey, 48, was arrested by sheriff's deputies for investigation of trespassing Thursday after he allegedly walked into Aniston's rented Malibu pad, searching for the former Friends star. He was being held in custody Friday in lieu of $500 bail.
Hesterbey reportedly took a cab from Santa Barbara to Malibu, where he allegedly entered Aniston's lair by means of an unlocked door and told an employee that he was "looking for Jennifer," authorities said.
When a second employee confronted the starstruck visitor, Hesterbey reportedly became startled and fled, leaping over a fence and sprinting for the beach.
Authorities found the man strolling the sand a short while later and Aniston's employees identified him as the intruder.
Aniston, who pays a reported $30,000 a month to rent the beachfront home, was in Chicago at the time of the incident, where she's filming the romantic comedy The Break Up opposite Vince Vaughn.
The erstwhile Rachel Green filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in March, citing irreconcilable differences, some three months after the high-profile pair announced their separation.
Once divorce proceedings kicked into high gear, Pitt set the rumor mill into frenzied motion when he was spotted with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie in farflung locations around the globe.
The duo, who have not officially confirmed their couple status, were most recently seen together in Canada, escorting Jolie's tots through a dinosaur exhibit.
Meanwhile, Aniston finally broke her silence on her ex's affairs in an interview with Vanity Fair, revealing she was "shocked" by the photos taken of Pitt and Jolie vacationing together.
"The world was shocked, and I was shocked," Aniston told the magazine. "I'd be a robot if I said I didn't feel moments of anger, of hurt, of embarrassment."
"Am I lonely? Yes. Am I upset? Yes. Am I confused? Yes. Do I have my days when I've thrown a little pity party for myself? Absolutely. But I'm also doing really well," the actress continued.
Should she need a little company in the future, we're thinking one Mr Hesterby need not apply.
