Jenna Expecting a Baby Elfman

Jenna Elfman is making the switch from Dharma & Greg to Mommy & Me.

E! News has learned that the former Emmy-nominated sitcom star and her husband, actor Bodhi Elfman, are expecting their first child together.

The couple, who met at an audition for a Sprite commercial in 1991 and have been married for 16 years, are "elated about the impending birth," a source close to the Elfmans said.

"The Elfmans are overjoyed to add an exciting new addition to their loving home. Jenna looks and feels amazing; she is certain to be one hot mama!"

For five years Jenna Elfman played the free-spirited yoga teacher to Thomas Gibson's buttoned-up attorney in the ABC sitcom Dharma & Greg, a role the 35-year-old former dancer won a Golden Globe for in 1999. The three-time Emmy nominee has been seen as a romantic lead in EDtv and Keeping the Faith and played a wise stripper/angel in Can't Hardly Wait.

Most recently, Elfman had a multi-episode guest spot on Two and a Half Men and starred in the short-lived sitcom Courting Alex.

Bodhi Elfman's feature-film appearances include turns in Armageddon, Gone in Sixty Seconds, and Collateral. Most recently he has guest starred on ER, Without a Trace, Las Vegas and Charmed. Up next, per IMDb, the expectant dad stars in the big-screen comedy The Sixth Element, directed by his father, Richard Elfman. Bodhi is also the nephew of composer Danny Elfman, Tim Burton's go-to guy and the mind behind The Simpsons' theme.
