Janet Jackson Exposed
It's been a very revealing couple of years for Janet Jackson.
First there was her infamous Super Boob mishap, where Jackson exposed her right breast--nipple shield and all--to millions of sports fans thanks to a wardrobe malfunction triggered by Justin Timberlake during a halftime performance at the 2004 Super Bowl.
Then, about a month ago, a paparazzi video of the singer sunbathing nude and rhythmically smacking her own bottom surfaced on the Internet, much to Jackson's reported indignation.
"I believe that she's particularly unhappy about this video because she's not in great shape," a source told MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls.
As a result, Jackson's legal team has been diligently working to get the clip removed from the Internet. (Threats of legal action apparently work wonders.)
On Friday, the video could still be found online, though it was not as widely available as before.
It was unclear where and when the video was shot.
As if having her naked body unknowingly filmed and put on display for anyone to see wasn't invasive enough, then came the claim by Jackson's former brother-in-law last week that the singer had birthed a secret daughter some 18 years ago.
Young DeBarge, the brother of Jackson's onetime husband, James DeBarge, claimed that Jackson gave birth to a daughter named Renee, who was then reportedly raised by Jackson's oldest brother, Rebbie.
As the rumor picked up momentum, Jackson, 39, eventually issued a public denial that she was a maternal figure.
"I do not have a child, and all allegations saying so are false," Jackson said in a brief statement this week.
Her brother, Tito, backed her claim in an interview with Extra that aired Thursday night.
"It goes through one ear and through the other one," Tito Jackson said. "I do not have a nephew or niece or whatever it is that's being said right now.
"I'm pretty sure it bothered her a little bit. But, she's going to go on and be strong like Janet always is. She'll just flake it off, keep moving. [She's] said what she had to say. She'll be okay."
