Janet Jackson Is Actually Really Funny
Janet Jackson's new album, Discipline, drops today, and to honor the pop icon's return to good music, MTV has named her Artist of the Week.
No big deal, right?
Well, right. But as part of the prestigious honor, Janet filmed various spoofs of MTV programming that will air over the next week on the network.
Miss Jackson's parodies include My Super Sweet 16, The Real World and Making the Band (sadly, no Hills). If you're anti-MTV yet pro-Janet, they're all there.
In fact, we were taken aback by how much Janet made us laugh. (It's hard to be funny when your face can't move that much.) Pay extra close attention to Janet's Real World freak-out—girl can scream better than any unstable drunk roommate.
Now, let's hope this getup (below) for Good Morning America was also a joke:
