Jack's Jewelry Jacked

If you thought hip-hop stars were the only celebrities who traveled with copious amounts of bling, you don't know Jack.

Jack Osbourne apparently doesn't leave home without his--at least until thieves lifted over $300,000 of jewelry from his suitcase during a transatlantic trip earlier this month, according to Britain's Sun newspaper.

The airport bandits got away with two watches and other unspecified valuables belonging to the teen reality TV star, which the Sun says were taken before the Ozzy offspring's luggage even made it on to the jet's cargo hold at LAX.

"It's a horrible thing to happen," the 19-year-old youngest Osbourne is quoted in the Sun, adding that the watches were gifts.

The heist apparently took place Feb. 11, according to Los Angeles International Airport spokesman Harold Johnson. A police report was filed on Feb. 16 and the incident is still under investigation.

There's something about the Osbourne family jewels that keeps the burglars coming back for more. The Jack jacking was the second heist of Osbourne booty in the last four months.

In November, Ozzy and wife Sharon were burglarized at their country mansion in Buckinghamshire. Ozzy reportedly wrestled with the thieves during the late-night incident Nov. 22, but the thieves escaped with nearly $2 million dollars worth of bling, including Sharon's wedding ring.

Jack was reportedly upset he was not home to help his father foil the break-in. "I was pretty angry because you feel violated," he said, per contractmusic.com. "If I was there I'd have been awake when it was going on."

No word whether the latest heisting will be covered on this final season of The Osbournes. The Emmy-winning MTV reality show, which rekindled Ozzy's career and made stars (and multimillionaires) of his wife, son Jack and daughter Kelly, has already chronicled Ozzy, Jack and Kelly's battles with substance abuse, Sharon's cancer treatement and Ozzy's near-fatal ATV crash.

News of Jack's woes comes less than a week after Ozzy canceled an appearance last Friday at a Southern California tsunami benefit concert, citing an undisclosed "family emergency."

Meanwhile, fresh off a stint of Extreme Celebrity Detox for Channel 4 in England, Jack, who has dabbled in the music biz as an A&R man, told the Sun earlier this month he plans on becoming a firefighter this year.

"I'm enrolling on a firefighting course this summer in New York," he said. "It's something I've always thought about but now is definitely the time to do it."
