Jack Bauer's Babe with Child

Audrey Raines may be a goner, but that's not keeping her real-life alter ego from getting busy.

Kim Raver, the possibly former 24 star, is expecting her second child with her husband of six years, French filmmaker Manuel Boyer, her publicist confirmed to E! News. The couple already have a four-year-old son, Luke.

The baby is due in the fall, the rep said, and will be Raver's second big delivery of the season.

Her TV pilot, Lipstick Jungle, has been picked up by NBC as a midseason replacement. Raver plays a career-oriented fashion magazine editor on the latest estrogen-fueled effort from Sex and the City creator Darren Star.

The show is considered one of the most buzz-worth of the upcoming season. Like Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle is based on a book by Candace Bushnell and revolves around the power-playing hijinks of Manhattan-based bestest buddies of the female persuasion. Brooke Shields and Lindsay Price also star.

According to Raver, show producers took the stork news well. "They were incredibly warm and excited for me," Raver told TV Guide. "Of course, at some point, we'll need to problem solve."

Problem number one: Whether or not the pregnancy will be written into the new series, a conundrum for the powers that be, considering Raver's role as a go-getting exec doesn't exactly mesh with diaper duty.

Still, Raver said her burgeoning baby bump would be a lot easier to wedge into a story line on her new show than it would have been on her last TV gig.

"These are women who juggle everything, so why not a kid? It would have been really tricky going from slip to nine months pregnant in one 24-hour period," said Raver, whose TV credits include ABC's short-lived bank heist serial The Nine and NBC's Third Watch, in addition to 24.

Speaking of, it appears Raver's run as Jack Bauer's girlfriend is over. On the season finale, Audrey was last seen in a catatonic state getting the kiss-off from the terrorist-thwarting hero. And with 24 producers promising major changes next season, it's unlikely she'll have any significant presence during Jack's next long day.

As for Lipstick Jungle, the dramedy is slated for the Sundays-at-10 p.m. slot and will debut on NBC in January.
