Iron Ladies? Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow Save the World

You might think Iron Man 2 is all about men and their machines making mischief. But at a press conference on Friday, Scarlett Johannson and Gwyneth Paltrow said their version of movie-robot rock would differ remarkably from that of their male co-stars.

Talking about the prospect of the two of them saving the world by stopping an army of homicidal robots, Paltrow explained, "If Scarlett and I were doing it, the body count would be different, less bloody."

As for how they might approach such a task?

"[We'd be] more organized," Johansson added. "We'd just stack up [the robots we fight]. I think that with the brains and the muscle and the beauty and the blonde, I feel like we have maybe a greater chance," said the woman who plays superspy Black Widow in the upcoming flick. "You guys can fight for yourselves."

Paltrow agreed they could take on any adversary: "We are unstoppable," she said.

Johansson continued, suggesting a division of labor between the two that might be amenable to Paltrow, now a mother of two. "We are, it's true. Unstoppable. I feel like I could wield the guns and like the karate-chop movements, and you could like?"

"Outthink people," Paltrow interjected, momentarily outthinking her co-star.

"Be the brains behind the operation," Johansson continued. "That's your one superpower? 'I will outthink you!'"

Those poor robots wouldn't stand a chance.
