I Jane's Addiction tornano al Lollapalooza

I Jane’s Addiction, tornati insieme, i Depeche Mode, i Tool e i Beastie Boys saranno fra gli artisti che si esibiranno quest’estate al Lollapalooza Festival, che avrà luogo al Grant Park di Chicago dal 7 al 9 agosto.
Tra gli 85 e più gruppi che canteranno al festival, troviamo anche i Killers, i Kings of Leon, Lou Reed, Ben Harper and the Relentless 7, i Thievery Corporation, Snoop Dogg, i Rise Against, Andrew Bird, i TV on the Radio, Neko Case, i Vampire Weekend, i Decemberists, gli STS9, gli Arctic Monkeys, i Kaiser Chiefs, gli Animal Collective e Ben Folds.
I fan dell’electronica si potranno godere DJ del calibro di Simian Mobile Disco, Bassnectar, Deadmau5, i Glitch Mob, He Say She Say, LA Riots e Moneypenny, tra gli altri.
Co-fondato dal cantante dei Jane’s Addiction Perry Farrell, il Lollapalooza era uno dei festival itineranti più popolari e importanti agli inizi degli anni ’90. Dopo aver visto calare le vendite dei biglietti, Farrell e gli altri organizzatori hanno seguito l’esempio di Coachella e Bonnaroo e hanno trasformato la loro creazione in una grande festa di un weekend, tenuta a Chicago.
