The cocktail of choice for celebs at Hollywood Life’s Breakthrough Awards last weekend was bright blue and called the McLovin’. In case you’ve been living under a rock, McLovin’ happens to be the name an underage character uses on his fake ID in the hit high school movie Superbad, which was recently released on DVD.

Ironically, the actor who plays the über-dorky dude, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, couldn't partake in his own namesake concoction. “I’m not even old enough to drink!” the 18-year-old actor complained to the audience when accepting his award. Where’s that fake ID when you need it?
If you’re 21 or older, you can mix up a batch of McLovin’ margaritas for your next bash. Here’s the recipe:
2 oz Cabo Wabo Reposado (or your tequila of choice)
2 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz Triple sec
Splash of Blue Curacao
Pour all ingredients into a shaker, add ice, mix and strain into a glass. Serve up (or on the rocks) and garnish with a lime wedge.
