Spice Up Your Bubbly
Chandon
You can't celebrate the holidays without champagne—it's the quintessential drink during this time of year. However, by the time New Year's Eve rolls around, you might be starting to tire of this sparkling spirit all by itself. Luckily, it's simple to spice up your champers with what's already in your fridge or liquor cabinet. Try mixing up one of these for your next toast.
Kir Royale: This berry-flavored beverage is a favorite of Keira Knightley.
- 1 part Crème de Cassis or Chambord liqueur
- 5 parts champagne
Poinsettia: It's as pretty as the plant but tastes much better.
- 1 part Grand Marnier
- 1 part cranberry juice
- 2 parts champagne
Mimosa: This citrus-flavored cocktail is perfect for sipping at brunch the morning after.
- 1 part triple sec
- 1 part orange juice
- 3 parts champagne
For all the recipes above, add the ingredients in order, then top with bubbly. Cheers!
