Another night, another round of charity soirees.
My first stop is the Beverly Hilton for A Night at Sardi's, where celebs belt Broadway hits to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Seth Rogen is hosting the event; onstage he shares that the mother of his girlfriend, Lauren Miller, has the disease.
Despite the somber topic, Rogen brings the funny. After introducing Star Trek hottie Chris Pine, Seth jokes to the audience. "I just kissed Chris Pine," he says. "I kissed him hard...and strong. He punched me pretty hard!"
And what are Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher up to?
Moore is on hand to present the Caregiver award to her friend Soleil Moon Frye, whom she calls "one of the most decent people she knows".
Hubby Kutcher tweets from the table as his wifey takes the podium. Once Demi is done presenting, she twitters, too. The couple that tweets together stays together?
As much as I wanna see stars sing, John Mayer is performing at the Ferrari party just up the street in Holmby Hills, so I'm off. The crooner takes the stage for a crowd that includes Al Pacino, Patrick Dempsey, Joel McHale, Katie Cassidy and Bruce Jenner, and performs a few hits, including "Your Body Is A Wonderland" and "Heartbreak Warfare."
Postperformance, Katie chats up John as photogs snap away. She's obviously a big fan! John makes a quick exit, but not before taking photos with fans. Maybe he's really turned over a new leaf?
